This time it worked instantly and has continued to work for the last few days.So I guess we have a work-around for the issue - to extend the datastore. Our primary cluster of 6 servers started to abend, half the ESX servers decided to vmotion of every vm and shutdown, the other 3 ESX servers were left running 6 servers After the backup of the server completes, Veeam get a notice that the snapshot has been removed.
