In the View Manager I see an error: View Composer agent initialization state error (6): Unknown failure (waited 0 seconds). We are using View 4 and also checked Vmware KB: 1011653. So when you install the View Agent, make sure the key reads something like this: C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,"C:\Program Files\Softricity\SoftGrid for Windows Desktops\sftdcc.exe","C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware View\Agent\bin\wssm.exe", It is highly likely this was something left over About 50% of the time, the VM will have an Error in View Manager that says "View Composer agent initialization state error (6): Unknown failure (waited 0 seconds)" and the only I've tried it with Windows XP and 7 but after creating the desktop pool, provisioning fails. The most critical is we've had virtual machines lock up so bad after trying to connect to them with PCoIP that I had to kill the VM from the service console
App-V 4.5 / Softgrid don't do this.
